The beds have metal to metal connection for all structural support making the bed strong and beautiful. There are several under bed options available for this bed. You can select the 3 drawers storage AND Twin Trundle unit that would allow you create a 2nd sleeping space OR a 6 drawers under the bed for lots of storage. The Discovery World Furniture Full Bookcase Daybed comes with the slat kits included (no need for bunky boards ) and assembly hardware.
White is a 6 step finish and is top-coated with a mild sheen. While Discovery utilizes MDF on non-structural areas of our white furniture, the use of solid wood is required to insure structural integrity and safety. Isolating and sealing the knots is the key to a quality white finish on solid wood. Expect minor imperfections and understand that a perfect white finish on solid wood is not attainable.
Constructed from solid wood in structural areas and MDF in cosmetic areas. With an opaque finish, MDF is the required proper material to use on large surface areas and provides a smoother, more trouble free finish.
A slat kit is included, making this bed mattress ready. No need to purchase a bunkie board or box spring
The doors on the ends of the bed provide access to a large area that can be used for additional storage. The storage area under the full version measures 77" x 16" when the trundle is in the storage position.
