The stair section is reversible (the stairs can be placed on the left hand or right hand side of the bed).
A slat kit is included, making this bed mattress ready. No need to purchase a bunkie board or box spring.
The bed includes a staircase, four drawers, two twin sized beds, and a magazine rack contained in a footprint that is slightly larger than a twin sized bed.
